My third elevator pitch:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SVOpsuNW8Rc
Reflection: Previous feedback said that I had good eye contact, was standing up straight, but I was a little rigid. I try to keep good eye contact with everyone and it was strange staring into a camera for over a minute.
What did I change: I tried to dress nicer for my elevator pitch. I wanted to look more presentable and to emulate who my target audience would be. I also tried to come off less rigid and more free flowing.
William,
ReplyDeleteI think you did a great job considering the feedback and pinpointing what you wanted to fix for this elevator pitch. It was a very informative pitch and I like how you invited your audience to contact you with any questions and for more information in the end of your pitch. I thought that was a nice way to close and created a relationship feel with your customers. I suppose my only advice is to use tone fluctuations to grab attention and imply excitement, etc. Good job!

Your pitch was very informative and really described your product thoroughly. I also liked how you really took the feedback you received into consideration for your third pitch. Maybe in the future, try to memorize your pitch more because it seemed as if you were reading it off a script and try to use hand gestures to engage the audience. By seeming more enthused, you will be able to capture your audience’s attention better. I think your pitch was really good and informative. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteHi William,
ReplyDeleteI think that you did a great job on your pitch. You seem like you have a really good product in mind and you know exact details about what you want to do with it. You were very informative about this product. I would say that you should seem a little more enthusiastic about your idea. Tell us why you are so passionate about this idea.
Hi William,
ReplyDeleteYou still seemed a bit rigid in this pitch. Body language is very important! Hand gestures and body motion keep the audience's attention and can also help with conveying your message. The actual content of your pitch was very good! I also like the fact that you asked for the audience to contact you with questions. It felt like a real elevator pitch! Good Job!
Hey William!
ReplyDeleteAfter watching your previous elevator pitches and then this one, I can most definitely see the improvement. You present yourself very professionally which is great for coming off as confident. In the future, I would add ever more of your personality into it. Adding voice infliction, gestures, and other non-verbals will really make your pitch stand out. Great job!
Hey William,
ReplyDeleteOverall I really liked you elevator pitch and I thought that you did a great job! I think improving the quality of clothes you were wearing definitely helped and gave it a more professional feel. I also think you did a good job of coming off not very rigid. It's so important to be able to communicate your ideas in a flow that makes it sound like you know what you are talking about. You also kept solid eye contact which I don't think is as easy as it sounds! Here is my blog: http://jaredpape.blogspot.com/
